PITE 3970 is smart charger designed for applications where battery charging is needed. Its unique technique for charging, protection function and trouble-shooting ensure that your UPS will work properly for vital applications, systems and networks during everyday power disturbance and outright power failures that is pretty common. Function 1. Output overvoltage protection Output overvoltage will be harmful to electric facility. However, with overvoltage circuit inside high frequency module, the module will automatically lock up with malfunction warning light and thus will ensure the normal working of the whole system. 2. Output current limiting protection Maximum limit of output current will be 1.05 times of rating output current (adjustable) 3. Fans starting When output current exceeds 25% or 30% of rating value, or when temperature inside charger is higher than 60 degree, the fans will start up. 4. Over heating protection The charger will be automatically powered off when radiator temperature is over degree and automatically powered on when temperature decreases under 76 degree 5. Short-circuit protection function 6. Module parallel connection protection 7. Malfunction warning for quick trouble-shooting.
